Wasteful Demands
This project explores the migration of East and Southeast Asians to Europe at the end of the 20th Century, looking for work and a better life in Western countries. During my investigation, I had an opportunity to ask them a few questions about their stories and experiences living particularly in Italy. Through this work, I realized my personal experience and understand the role of the photographer and son of the parents who migrated as well, looking for a better life.
Giving the viewers different perspectives and significant involvement in this issue, allowed me to tell them backstories and experiences of people making clothes that some viewers might be wearing right now.
