My work consists of self portature, focusing on the female body and how its identity has
been influenced by a male dominated culture. The female form is no longer as simple as it
is presented but rather a subject for constructed male views, designed for the consumption
of the beholder
Through obscuring my identity, I want to demonstrate how the female form becomes an
object of fetish, criticisms and desire. By incorporating the studio I test the boundaries
between being the photographer and the subject, and performing for the camera.
